Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive to Reykjavik and get checked into The Reykjavik EDITION. Experience Blue Lagoon Iceland Lunch at Lava Restaurant. Take a tour around Iceland and in the afternoon take the time to eat dinner at ‘Steikhúsið’, also known as the steak house of Iceland.
 
Day 2 – Strap into a two-seat Buggy with your partner and prepare to overcome obstacles in the rugged landscape by the slopes of Mount Esja. After a long day, spend time at one of the best Iceland restaurant ‘Grillmarkaðurinn’.
 
Day 3 – Take a trip to Thingvellir, the site of the original Althing. We will help you transfer to the Hotel Ranga. This area is noted for its spectacular lava formations and being the only place in the world where you can actually see the tectonic plates drift apart. Lunch stop at Fridheimar farm, to be paid locally from there we will head to the most impressive waterfalls in Europe, Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall). In the afternoon, take a time to be in outdoor hot tubs to overlook the river and volcano for an atmospheric soak.
 
Day 4 – Drive down the south shore Reynisfjara and the southernmost point of Iceland Vik. At Sólheimajökull glacier we will do a Private glacier walk. We will head onto the glacier to experience this unique environment with some amazing terrain with crevasse, sinkholes and ice ridges.
 
Day 5 – Today we begin with a private snowmobiling tour on Eyjafjallajökull glacier. This snowmobile tour is the perfect length of time for first-time riders and individuals looking for a scenic, fun ride, exploring and experiencing the wilderness, the glacier and the breathtaking views over South Iceland in good weather. After that we head into Thorsmork, it is one of the brightest pearls in the string of beautiful areas of the country, surrounded by rugged and beautiful mountains, glaciers and glacial rivers, decorated with small birch woods and silver lined with humming brooks.

Day 1 Reykjavík
 
8:00 AM - Blue Lagoon Iceland Lunch at Lava Restaurant
An experience of the Blue Lagoon that includes a private changing room and entry to the Exclusive Lounge a sanctuary of relaxation with stunning views, a fireplace, reclining chairs, an attendant, food service, and direct access to the lagoon.
 
6:00 PM – Steak house ‘Steikhúsið’
The restaurant has really good welcoming staff and the food is amazing. The food was cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced for Iceland prices. It is a warm and cozy atmosphere restaurant that offers one of the best steaks.
 
 
 
Day 2 Reykjavík
 
1:30 PM – Exploring Rykjavik with buggy adventure tour
Strap into a two-seat Buggy with your partner and prepare to overcome obstacles in the rugged landscape by the slopes of Mount Esja; climbing hills, running though river beds and much more. This Buggy Tour is for those who crave bumpy, dusty, dirty driving thrills, while getting up close and personal with nature.
 
6:00PM – Good time at ‘Grillmarkaðurinn’
After a relaxing day of buggy adventure, we went to Grillmarkaðurinn for dinner. The tasting menu is a great opportunity for those who want to try new dishes. Also, the look of the dishes they serve are well-designed. They have a fantastic service with fantastic variety of foods to choose from.
 
 
 
Day 3 Hella
 
10:00 AM – Trip to country side
Today you will head out to the country side, the drive goes into the countryside to Thingvellir, the site of the original Althing, the actual founding place of the oldest democratic parliament in the world. This area is noted for its spectacular lava formations and being the only place in the world where you can actually see the tectonic plates drift apart. Lunch stop at Fridheimar farm, to be paid locally from there we will head to the most impressive waterfalls in Europe, Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall).
 
3:00 PM – Check-in at Hotel Ranga
The Northern Lights and jaw-dropping landscapes of Southern Iceland, set the scene for this luxury retreat. Hotel Ranga was made for adventures. Year-round, it puts awe-inspiring scenery at your feet - whether you plan to snowmobile, sled, horse-ride or fish your way around. Many of the log cabin-style rooms and suites come with terraces. Day 4 Hella
 
9:00 AM – Drive down the south shore
You will drive along the south shore to Reynisfjara and southernmost point of Iceland Vik. The drive from the Villa to Vik directly would take about 2 hours but we will do multiple stops on the way. Waterfalls one of which you can walk behind, black sandy beaches, mountains and strange lava formations along the way. Solheimajokull glacier tongue extends down from its mother glacier, Myrdalsjokull, Iceland's fourth largest.
 
12:00 PM – Ice Climbing/ Glacier Walk
At Sólheimajökull glacier we will do a Private glacier walk. It is only about 15 to 20 minute walk from our base to the glacier. We walk through the varied landscape on our way, formed by the glacier for the past thousands of years. There you will see how fast the glacier has been melting for the past 15 years. We will head onto the glacier to experience this unique environment with some amazing terrain with crevasse, sink holes and ice ridges. Sólheimajökull is the southernmost glacier in Iceland, the ice is up to about 200 meters thick and the total size with the ice cap Mýrdalsjökull about 600 km2. Underneath the main ice cap is the caldera of the volcano Katla, one of Iceland biggest volcano.
 
 
 
Day 5 Hella
 
9:00 AM – Thorsmörk Super Jeep Safari & Snowmobiling
Today we begin with a private snowmobiling tour on Eyjafjallajökull glacier. While the south is certainly spectacular from "below” nothing beats experiencing it from "above”! This snowmobile tour is the perfect length of time for first-time riders and individuals looking for a scenic, fun ride, exploring and experiencing the wilderness, the glacier and the breathtaking views over South Iceland in good weather. After a short briefing we dress up in the snow suit and step into a Super Jeep. We then drive up the mountain, onto the glacier where we pick up the snowmobiles and ride to the glacier Eyjafjallajökull. The glacier adventure will provide stunning photo opportunities in good weather. We provide you with everything you need for a safe and comfortable ride bring only yourself. Our guides will take you through safety procedures and equip you in special clothing and helmets. After that we head into Thorsmork, it is one of the brightest pearls in the string of beautiful areas of the country, surrounded by rugged and beautiful mountains, glaciers and glacial rivers, decorated with small birch woods and silver lined with humming brooks.
