Day 2: Full Day Tour in Giza
Meet your Egyptologist-Guide in the lobby of your hotel and drive through the picturesque Egyptian countryside Sakkara! Here you will see the Step Pyramid of Pharaoh Zoser, first of all the pyramids. Then explore the Heb Sed Court of the amazing pyramid complex. Then head to the imposing Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. We will then proceeding to the high desert plateau for gorgeous views and end with a lighthearted camel ride through the sands surrounding the Pyramids.

Day 3: Full Day Tour in Cairo
Drive along the bank of the Nile to explore "Old Cairo," the most ancient area of the capital, where first the Pharaonic religion reigned, and then Judaism and early Christianity flourished. This afternoon drive takes you to Cairo Egyptian Museum, designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon. Today the museum contains the most important collection of Egyptian art in the world. Experience the magnificence and splendor when seeing the treasures of Tutankhamun.

Day 4: Half Day Tour in Cairo
Enjoy a half-day tour of Cairo's highlights – perhaps the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, or the vibrant Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 5: Drive Cairo to Alexandria
City tour followed by check-in at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria. Upon arrival visit the Roman Amphitheater, then drive to the Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, with their bizarre hybrid Egyptian-Classical art. Then on to see the medieval Fort Qait Bey, a citadel built during the Crusades – on the site of the ancient Ptolemaic Pharos Lighthouse, one of the classical Seven Wonders of the World. Lunch at the famous Fish Market Restaurant and then on to the Library of Alexandria.

Day 6: Drive to Cairo Airport / Fly to Aswan
Drive to Cairo Airport. Flight to Aswan, overnight Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan.

Day 7: Transfer to Nile River Cruise
We will cross the Old Dam, built by the British a century ago over part of the First Cataract of the Nile, and visit an ancient granite quarry. Then stop atop the mammoth Aswan High Dam and enjoy views of vast artificial Lake Nasser, stretching for 300 miles to the south into the Sudan! Cross the lake between the two dams to explore the romantic Temples of Philae, rescued, like the Abu Simbel Temples, from the rising waters of the Nile due to the building of the High Dam – and re-situated on nearby Agilkia Island. In the beautiful Temple of Isis, principal monument of Philae, enter the Sanctuary – the last holdout of the ancient Egyptian religion when Christianity swept the land in the early centuries AD.

Day 8: Kom Ombo and Edfu
Early morning sail to Kom Ombo. Breakfast on board. Visit the Ptolemaic Temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Sail to Edfu. In Edfu, we take a quaint horse-carriage ride to the mighty Temple of the Falcon-Headed Sun-God Horus, known as Edfu Temple, best-preserved monument remaining from Egypt's ancient past! Afternoon tea. Sail to Luxor. Dinner on board in Luxor.

Day 9: Luxor West and East Banks
Breakfast on board. Cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, with a photo stop at Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board. In the afternoon visit the Karnak Temple, which is one of the greatest architectural achievements of antiquity. Then visit the Temple of Luxor, which was started by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II. Dinner on board & Galabeya party. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 11: Visit Petra
Visit Petra where you will see the giant red mountains and vast mausoleums of an ancient people. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled here more than 2000 years ago, turning it into an important junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked China, India and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece and Rome.
