St Regis New York

St Regis New York
, built in 1904 and once owned by John Jacob Astor, is use to catering to many of the worlds rich and famous.  The luxury hotel is one of the prettiest buildings on Fifth Avenue and is a beaux-arts landmark. The red carpeted entrance and grand marquee is well known in New York and makes for a very stylish arrival that does not disappoint on entering the equally grand but intimate lobby and chandeliered public rooms.  Right off the lobby is the Astor Court where a traditional tea service is done daily. Here to, breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are offered at set hours.

The King Cole bar is one of New York’s landmarks and not just for hotel guests.  New Yorkers love this masculine feeling bar and with its famous and beautiful Maxwell Parrish mural prominently displayed it’s easy to understand why.  A sophisticated crowd fills the room shortly after cocktail hour begins and while there are small tables scattered it’s a seat at the bar that is the prize position.  It’s also where you get the attention of some of the finest bartenders in the world.

The rooms at the St Regis NewYork are not noted for their views but for the detail of the amenities and service offered.  Service reaches some of the highest levels in New York, with English-style hall butlers on duty 24 hours a day, coffee served shortly after wake-up calls and complimentary mineral water in the minibars; they will even press two garments per guest on arrival not to mention complimentary shoeshine, turndown and twice-daily maid service.  Rooms have flat screen TV’s and additional TV’s in the bath. Sitting areas with sofas and plump armchairs are in most units, and all rooms are fitted with multiple phones, minibars and safes, and fair-sized closets.  The suites are famous and rightfully so.  If the suite life is what you want St Regis New York will not disappoint. They are, hands down, some of the best in New York if not the world. Speak to one of our experts to discuss which one is right for you.

The hotels gourmet restaurant, Ardour by Alain Ducasse has received top reviews by all the critics. One does not simply stop in for a snack. Reservations are mandatory and dinner here is an evening spent dining on magnificient food accompanied by wonderful wines in a beautiful setting.   The innovative wine bar has an interactive touch screen where guests can do their own research.

The health club at the St Regis New York features a workout room, sauna and steam room. The salon and Remede Spa provide health and beauty treatments.

St Regis New York continues to earn its reputation as one of Manhattan’s finest, and can rival any hotel here for top honors.

Gorgeous 5th Avenue Suite at St Regis New York

I stayed in 5th Avenue Suite #401 for one night. It was the most gorgeous suite that I have ever stayed in! The suite has lovely furnished with comfortable beds and linens, two spacious classy bathrooms, living room with dining area and kitchenette. The bedroom was very quiet with a relaxed atmosphere, and also there were beautiful crystal chandeliers in living room. This suite made me feel very romantic and classic. Furniture is antique French, very pretty and high quality. The best part was the bathroom. It was fabulous, all marble with chandeliers, exquisite fixtures, and many towels including true bath sheets. The rain head released a true deluge also there was movable shower as well, very luxurious. Moreover there was a separate tub from the glassed shower booth and separate toilet booth. The antique china wear made me feel Royal when I had my afternoon tea. Absolutely everything was embroidered with the St. Regis logo. There was fresh fruit on china and silver placed in the room when I arrived. The room service was delightful, prompt and delicious! I am sure I would like to recommend my favorite part of the stay… breakfast at St. Regis; it was just a perfect morning. Other services at St Regis New York are superb; everyone from the butlers to concierge team made our stay as pleasant as possible. I had a truly wonderful experience, very conducive to relaxing and unwinding for a weekend
