La Zebra

Named after the first creature to jump ashore from an African ship wrecked just off the coast many years ago, La Zebra is all about ‘jungle chic’. La Zebra is a hotel-supplied bike ride away from the Mayan Tulum Ruins overlooking the ocean. A slightly longer drive brings you inland to Coba, a Yucatán pyramid within knotty jungle, or the Muyil ruins. Further afield, explore Chichén Itzá, or visit Ek' Balam which is still being excavated. This part of the world is also known for cenotes – atmospheric swimming holes. With scuba diving, kiteboarding, fishing and cooking classes too, there’s plenty to fill a getaway here.
