Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik

When past guests have included kings, queens and Hollywood royalty, you know a hotel is going to be special. Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik is exactly that, pairing luxury style with a passion for hospitality that saw it welcome guests throughout a turbulent 20th century. After a captivating renovation, this boutique hotel remains one of the most enviable addresses in Dubrovnik.

This luxury hotel is one of two halves: the original 1913 royal villa and a sleek contemporary wing. This mingling of past and present is echoed in the interior styling by Franić-Šekoranja studio. Think understated colour themes with pops of bright citrus and decadent velvet furnishings. The real wonder of this hotel is where indoors meets out. Whether that’s sipping coffee on your balcony, enjoying breakfast on the sun-soaked Salin terrace, or a romantic dinner under the waterside arches at Prora restaurant.

Direct access to beach and a tranquil spa providing plenty of relaxing ways to fill your time. If those old town views have inspired you to explore, the ancient east gate is a short stroll away. Half the fun is getting lost, but Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik can also arrange a private tour, finishing with champagne at the top of mount Srđ. Sundowners at Abakus Piano Bar and fine seafood at Sensus restaurant will tempt you back before long.
