Four Seasons Los Angeles

at Beverly Hills

The Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is located one mile south of the Sunset Strip; this is one of the top Los Angeles addresses for the fashion and show-business industry. It is a premier destination for luxury-grade vacationers as well.

Guests enter the balconied high-rise through the trademark Four Seasons entrance, a simple foyer of inlaid marble centering on a grandiose floral arrangement spotlighted by a chandelier a still life copied by almost every deluxe and quasi-deluxe hotel in the world.

Dining facilities at Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills include Cabana Restaurant, Located adjacent to the pool on the fourth floor; the newly renovated Cabana Restaurant offers casual all-day dining every day. A diverse menu offers themed choices for everyone, including indulgence sections, antioxidant choices, energy boosters and comfort food. A children's menu is available. Capturing the cosmopolitan ethos of Los Angeles, Culina, Modern Italian, features LA's only crudo bar, a spacious patio, two lounges, a contemporary dining room and two private rooms for entertaining. Culina from the Latin word for “kitchen” showcases the intersection of traditional and modern Italian cuisine with a menu guided by exceptional ingredients. You can linger over small plates and fine Italian wines at communal tables carved from a salvaged 200-year-old magnolia tree, enjoy Mediterranean raw seafood delicacies at the crudo bar or settle in for a night of superior dining under spectacular glass chandeliers. Set amid a stunning indoor-outdoor design that melds simplicity with elegance, Culina, Modern Italian, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven nights a week.

Also light dining is available at Window lounge at Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, along with tea and cocktails for the Who's Who clientele. (Specialty martinis are the drink of choice.) Everyone enjoys the surroundings, and the frequent celebrity sightings rarely raise an eyebrow.

Lush landscaping beautifies both the ground level and the fourth-floor terrace, where the lap pool and whirlpool afford neighborhood views from its half-acre expanse. Unfortunately, the whirlpool is a plebian fiberglass model, the kind usually encountered in suburban backyards.

Attendants fetch food and drink, arrange chaise lounges and dispense towels. High-profile you can catch the late-afternoon sun here in relative obscurity, and the adjoining terrace has phones on every table for nonstop deal making. In-room phones forward calls directly to your mobiles.

Just inside, the lavish spa suffused with aroma therapeutic scents offers an admirable array of treatments as well as a breezy canopied fitness center with delightful exercise space in a patio setting.

Fast elevators rise to spacious guest quarters done in soothing colors, featuring floral, geometric, Asian and contemporary motifs. The Bose wave clock radios and CD players provide mood music. All are appointed with traditional hardwood furniture, thermostats, TVs, VCRs, stereos, minibars and laptop-sized safes. All of the unit now boast new pillow-top mattresses, duvets and down pillows. Wonderful marble baths boast robes, small TVs, oversized towels, phones, scales and hair dryers.
French doors open to rounded one-step balconies. Higher floors at Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills have the same layouts and furniture but are graded deluxe for their somewhat better views. The least expensive Moderate rooms are on the third floor, and Superior units occupy floors four through nine. Deluxe rooms face the garden. The most expensive Four Seasons Deluxe rooms are large corner units with wraparound balconies, and those ending in -01 and -02 face the Los Angeles basin and the ocean. The -28 and -29 series looks out on the Hollywood Hills.

Professional, heel-clicking service comes from a genial staff that is as highly polished as everything else here. Children are warmly welcomed and given personalized T-shirts, crayons and board games. Room service never stops, and turndown, twice-daily maid service and complimentary shoeshine are standard perks. Pets are permitted.
