The CastaDiva Resort & SPA is a five-star luxury resort located on the east side of Lake Como, in the lovely village of Blevio, only 5 km from Como and 65 km from Milano Malpensa International Airport.
The Resort was inaugurated on May 29, 2010 and consists of nine villas for a total of 77 rooms (73 rooms, 58 of them are suites and junior suites, and 2 private Villas), surrounded by a luxuriant botanic park that boasts age-old trees of different species – many of which forest trees – over an area of approximately 26,000 sqm. Large rooms from 35 to 250 sq.mt., the majority with full lake view, balcony or terrace. The villas are connected to one another through roads, walkways and steps amidst an enchanting vegetation. The CastaDiva is a unique new product, the ideal place to pamper yourself and replenish your soul, mind and body in privacy.
CastaDiva is the first Resort of lake Como, the only eco-friendly resort of the area, opened after almost 10-year reconstruction made adopting solutions that fully respect the environment and meeting the highest standards of eco-sustainability: each building fulfills the most stringent environmental criteria, in full harmony with the natural setting that surrounds it. Special solutions make the resort truly unique, such as the use of power instead of methane for installations, the production of clean energy through a heat exchanger by drawing water from the lake or an adjustable air conditioning system in each suite and residential suite room.
The SPA, designed by Paolo Bodega e Luca Castelli over an area of 1.300 sq.mt., is the place where guests will enjoy a truly sensory experience among water features in an environment that reminds of an old steamboat, or sitting on comfortable chaise lounges on a glass floor, suspended over a 19th century dock.
From there, a spectacular way leads outside to the floating heated pool. The wellness area includes: fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment by Technogym, indoor heated pool with jacuzzi, emotional showers with chromotherapy, ice cascade, Finnish sauna and Mediterranean Bath both with aromatherapy, Turkish Bath, Vertical Kneipp, Salt room for halotherapy.
The treatment area consists of two treatment rooms plus 4 SPA Suites inspired to the 4 elements: Fire, Water, Air and Earth, each of them with private shower, private heat experience and relaxation area, for an individual or couple wellbeing experience.
A new range of beauty treatments using green stem cells have been created by a team of medical specialists exclusively for CastaDiva, together with a personalized line of facial and body products.
For your dining, “L’Orangerie” restaurant, a la carte’, offers the true Italian flavors, prepared with particular focus on local traditions: home-made pasta, bread, cakes and desserts; seasonal products coming from the area. Gourmet menu at dinner. Outdoor terrace on the Lake open between May and September (depending on weather conditions) for your “al fresco” meals.
The SPA Café, located in Spa, Café offers Guests the possibility of enjoying a full Spa day without ever leaving the premises. Here you may choose amongst an array of delectable specialties created by our Chefs and Nutritionists, as a complement to the treatment you have done.
The Bellini Bar, located in Villa Roccabruna with a unique lake view, offers a tasty range of light meals, salads and snacks at lunch and dinner, as well as cocktails and drinks throughout the day. Outdoor terrace overlooking the Lake open from May to September (depending on weather conditions).
The Pool bar, open from May to September (depending on weather conditions) and located by the outdoor pool, offers a selection of salads, snacks, sushi and drinks during the day.
From a spectacular way leads outside, we arrive to floating pool ... for a unique experience. The pool is heated and has a Jacuzzi area, as well as a sundeck and bar for drinks and snacks.
At night, after sunset, a mesmerizing show of music, lights and water jets transforms the lake into a magical backdrop. The floating pool disappears and a dancing fountain, “suspended” over the lake surface, appears. Surrounded by an enchanting nature, the show will be accompanied by music from the best Italian opera arias.
