Located close to the Beach of Albir and Alfaz del Pi, in the vicinity of the picturesque town of Altea, in Alicante (Valencian community), the medical hotel SHA stands in front of the Mediterranean Sea, next to the beautiful Sierra Helada Natural Park. The area’s pleasantly mild microclimate guarantees a fantastic temperature right through the year, and it has been declared to be one of the places with the best weather in the world by the World Health Organization , which is an essential factor when it comes to preserving an optimum state of health.
SHA Wellness Clinic Medical Spa Resort is a creation of the prestigious Uruguayan architect Carlos Gilardi and the award-winning European designer Elvira Blanco Montenegro.
The five buildings that make up the SHA accommodate 92 suites that are between 70 and 320 square metres in size. The Resort has Zen, Mediterranean and tropical gardens; big indoor and outdoor swimming pools, waterfalls, numerous relaxation areas and a Clinic and Wellness area built on more than 6000 m2 divided up on different floors, where there is a complete hydrotherapy circuit with two indoor swimming pools, numerous treatment rooms, a treatment suite for couples, medical rooms and a consultation room, waiting rooms and relaxation areas. The large, open spaces of each building, combined in perfect harmony with the most innovative design, are laid out in the most intuitive and comfortable way to make you really feel at home.
