Evelyn Weber, Manager, of Saint-Barth Isle de France had her start many years ago when she opened LaSamanna on St. Maarten. To say she is used to caring for the rich and famous is an understatement. Her biography, if she ever decides to write one, would no doubt, as they say, be a great read. She herself is as low key as the hotel but don't let that fool you. Behind her cool facade she oversees the running of the hotel with precision and is largely responsible for it's success. Getting a room in high season can be difficult as many of her guests return year after year. The hotel is maintained beautifully and distinct for it's Caribbean but French feeling. The two locations of the rooms and suites, beach and garden, are both unique. The latter being less expensive but popular because of the added seclusion they offer. Both areas also have their own pool. There is a full gym and spa. Their restaurant overlooks Flamands beach and is especially popular for lunch.
