Coworth Park

Leave the city behind. Revel in the pastoral tranquillity of a unique hotel and a refined retreat with more than a few surprises. Set in 240 acres of picturesque parkland on the borders of Windsor Great Park, Coworth Park, Dorchester Collection’s new 70 room country house hotel and spa, blends the warmth and comfort of a contemporary country house with an eccentric spirit that is undeniably English and irrefutably modern.

Within walking distance of historic Windsor Great Park, Coworth Park is a gateway to the breathtaking vistas, cultural gems and heritage sites that make the southwest of England such a fascinating and rewarding region to visit. Placing centuries of English Heritage on your doorstep, Windsor and the myriad wonders of the River Thames are only a stone’s throw away. An ideal rural base for guests wishing to explore London without having to stay in the city itself, Coworth Park also places you a short distance from Ascot and world-class golf courses Wentworth and Sunningdale. Coworth Park is just 40 minutes from Central London and 20 minutes from Heathrow.

Coworth Park’s renovated stable houses 28 rooms and suites with crisp, modern furnishings and simple, pastoral colour schemes with many influences from their original use as stables, including v-groove panelling, oak floors and leather details. They comprise of a combination of lateral and vertical suites, some with their own staircases. The upper floor rooms are open to the eaves above.

Coworth Park’s outbuildings are home to 11 rooms and suites in the form of private cottages which offer many subtle influences from their original use as farmer’s cottages. The colour schemes consist of rich brown leathers, earthy neutrals and warm autumn colours. The furniture is contemporary and the photography has an equestrian theme.

The Mansion House comprises a series of intimate public rooms on the ground floor, two floors of bedrooms above and a lower ground floor beneath. Upon entering guests first enter the reception hall where an ultra-contemporary staircase in an oval design sweeps up to the bedroom floors above, such a staircase where you might want to slide down the banisters, a reminder of the many fabulous parties Coworth Park has hosted over the centuries! Guests can enjoy cocktails, afternoon tea, relax and read a book in front of open fireplaces in the enchanting Summer Room and Drawing Room, both of which enjoy stunning views out through open doors to the terraces and beyond.

There are 30 bedrooms and suites in the Mansion House, each room with extensive views through high Georgian windows out over gardens and parkland. No two rooms are alike and the exquisite furnishings and furniture are a combination of traditional and contemporary - some rooms have ornate four-poster traditional beds that take the form of trees, whilst others are in an upholstered style.
