The hotel is located in the center of the city in a park setting near a residential district on the European banks of the Bosphorus. The spacious gardens of the hotel were previously a part of the Dolmabahce Palace, which was once the official residency of the Ottoman Sultans. Situated on a wooded hilltop, the hotel offers panoramic views of the Bosphorous, Asian coast and old city of Istanbul. The executive level rooms have the best views and is treated almost like another hotel. We highly reccommend booking at this level. Thr pool area attracts an International crowd in the summer and the restaurant adjacent to it serves excellent Turkish cuisine at lunch. Many think of this hotel as a commercially oriented, and this may be true in part, however it gets our vote for consistently excellent service and great amenites such a as world class spa and health club. All of this at what are reasonable rates for this area.
