First opened in 1912, the historical Astoria Hotel was refurbished in 2000-01. It is ideally located in the very heart of St. Petersburg, next to the landmark St. Isaacs Cathedral and within walking distance to the Hermitage Museum and Nevsky Prospect. Traditional and elegant furnishings and Russian antiques combine with comfortable, modern facilities in each room to create an ambiance unlike any other in the city. The Russian restaurant Divadovs, overlooking St. Isaac's, offers fine Russian and international cuisine in a traditional setting.
