Mandarin Oriental Miami is a bay front city resort offering a unique full service pampering spa and stunning views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline from every room. The resort features large residential guestrooms with high ceilings and all the amenities befitting a five star hotel. The man made beach is most attractive although is is not a "swimming" beach. However the location directly on Biscayne Bay with the Miami skyline seemingly at your toes is dramatic enough to make up for that. The pool is directly behind you and their health club and spa is first rate. Dining is above average and especially in their signature restaurant Azul. All in all, this is a sophisticated alternative to staying on the "Beach" and a really good one as the servcie is excellent. Mandarin Oriental Miami gets our vote as one of the best U.S. city/resort hotels.
