It is one of Hawaii's most luxurious hotels and is located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, Honolulu's nightlife and one mile from the Hawaii Convention Center. There are 455 rooms and 43 suites. Views are of either the beautifully manicured gardens or the beach and Diamond Head.
When the hotel first opened it was an immediate hit as the decor of the rooms alone were something new and different which had never been seen before. They are decorated in 7 shades of white. That and the large terraces (called lanai's) that each room have bring guests back over and over. Waikiki beach is one of the worlds most beautiful and seeing it from the Halekulani doesn't get much better.
