Bajacu's verandahs and flower hung balconies evoke a Mediterranean ambiance-all enhanced by spectacular sea views. Tiled and cobblestone pathways meander around the grounds and lead to the various areas of the estate.

Completed in April 2004, Bajacu offers 9500 square feet with another 3500 square feet of open deck. The villa features five air-conditioned bedrooms and seven baths as well as an office. Two dramatic infinity pools cascade into each other. Both pools may be heated if desired.

Preceded by a sculpted volcanic stone fountain, the villa has an open living room under a gigantic palapa (thatch roof). A spectacular pergola links the Palapa to an inside living room surrounded by the pool. Antiques from China, Indonesia and Africa together with unique artwork create an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. All of the interiors feature high ceilings that vary from 15 to 33 feet and distinctive furnishings.

Bajacu offers a formal dining room that features a gleaming wooden table that can seat up to 16 guests. An open air, furnished verandah provides an additional area for dining al fresco amongst it's rich color washed walls. Both areas provide dramatic settings for guests to enjoy sumptuous home cooked meals.

All of the five bedrooms are spacious and well appointed. Each offers a private terrace offering stunning views of the sea. Additionally, each bedroom features a bath with shower, bathtub and two sinks, hairdryers, fans, walk in closet, flat screen TV, DVD player, safe and phone. Three of the bedrooms have king sized beds and two of the bedrooms have two double beds each.

The villa has an office complete with a computer (Internet access), Fax printer, scanner and answering machine.

The stunning and dramatic Infinity pools provide an idyllic setting to savor the peace and tranquility at Bajacu. One of the pools is approximately 8.5 feet deep and the other is approximately 4 feet deep. Both pools may be heated, if desired.

A Sunset Terrace is comfortably furnished with overstuffed furnishings set on cool salmon colored tiled floors. The views from this terrace are truly mesmerizing. Indeed, this terrace provides a wonderful spot to relax, read or perhaps catch a nap.

A natural stone path winds down through lush vegetation to a platform with ladder where swimming may be enjoyed when seas/weather conditions permit. The depth of the ocean at this point is approximately 5 feet and there is a sandy bottom. Other exceptional beaches are located with a five minute drive or via boat.

The villa is completely staffed with an extensive and professional group of individuals. The staff is available to guests seven days per week and includes a butler, cook, 1-3 maids (function of occupancy) and a gardener. Two of the staff members live on the property.

Rental of Bajacu includes use of a 25 ft. catamaran two days/two boat trips per week. The boat has a Captain and master diver (although diving instruction is not permitted). Guests enjoy having the boat take them to the many, exceptional reefs that circle the island where snorkeling is fabulous or to deserted beaches for picnics. The Captain will, also, take guests out for deep-sea diving (just no instruction). Additional 1/2 day boat trips are available for an additional $500.00.

Additional amenities include its own fresh water plant and for additional peace of mind, the villa is gated and boasts a sophisticated alarm system.

While Bajacu is extremely private and peaceful, it is only minutes from golf, gambling if desired and some of the most outstanding beaches in the Caribbean.
