The unmistakable CN Tower is listed in the Guinness Book of World’s Records as the world’s tallest freestanding structure.  The tower boasts three decks with views of the Toronto skyline, Lake Ontario and – on clear days – Lake Simcoe and the mists of Niagara Falls. The slightly lower observation deck sports a glass floor, where strolling feels like cloud walking. There is also a revolving restaurant on the top floor, showing off the city of Toronto from all angles.  

The Distillery Historic District

Once upon a time, the Gooderham and Warts Distillery was the largest in the British Empire. Now, it’s Canada’s largest center for arts and culture. Sitting on 13 acres, the village was unveiled in 2003 as a pedestrian-only arts and entertainment district. Fifteen art galleries and several theaters call the Distillery District home. The village has functioned as the set for various Hollywood films, as well as the backdrop for a number of music and cultural festivals.

The Harbourfront Centre is a fun recreation and cultural center on the banks of Lake Ontario. You can dine and shop at the Queen’s Quay Terminal, a former shipping warehouse turned unique shopping complex in the 1980’s.
