Four Seasons George V
The Four Seasons Hotel George V is a place of legend. The art deco building (listed in the National Inventory of Batiments De France) was entirely renovated in 1998-1999. The result is amazing! While the rooms and suites provide the standard "Four Seasons" luxury product it is the public rooms and facilities that stand out. They are decorated beautifully and flow from one to the other in such a way so as to encourage their guests to enjoy them and each other. The floral arrangements are, with out a doubt, spectacular! The health club and spa, which was more recently renovated, is an outstanding facility. It not only provides the latest equipment but a setting that inspires as well. At the moment it is the best hotel health club in Paris. Lastly, the hotel's Michelin 3 star restaurant, Le Cinq, which is in great demand for dinner, should be experienced for lunch as well. All the rooms at the George V are luxurious and even the smaller rooms have walk in closets (George V guests don’t like looking at their luggage after they’ve checked in). However the eigth-floor Honeymoon Suite is spectacular and has not one but two balconies with views of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. The Presidential Suite (201), no less grand, has its own gym.
At any given time celebrities or fashion icons can be spotted here. There may be other hotels in the city that are more Parisian in their feeling but no other provides the enormous rush and ego boost each time you walk through it’s lobby.
